Yes I’ve said it. Chicago sucks….. Why do you ask? well it’s quite simple SLUMLORDS Chicago is plague by what we call a slumlord. If you move in any where in Chicago you will encounter this jackass of human scum. They act nice and kiss your ass until you move in then your screwed. Remember how your landlord said “I’ll paint the walls before you move in” and you move and and the old paint is still there? yep thats your first sign that you have a slumlord. Or heres another one you find out that your gas bill can power a marine barracks yet you have a one bedroom apartment and wonder what’s up and your landlord says it’s normal in Chicago…. Well your paying for the whole building and your landlord is probably taking in cash from the other tenants in the building and saying he is paying for their gas while your stuck with the bill.The problem isn’t real the low life scum that does it and has been doing this to their tenants it’s because the city of Chicago will not enforce any of it’s laws as long as the alderman is receiving money from your landlord nothing will be done about it. It’s a catch fuck you system in Chicago and I’m very sick of it. I swear it’s like having a Republican conservative politician who takes all your money but under no circumstances does he take responsibility for any of his evil actions. I’m sick of this Bullshit city not getting it’s act together. I’ve called the city hotline and nothing happens they just blow you off. I’ve tried in the past to use the Bar Association to find a lawyer and it’s like the biggest bullshit front association. They don’t care and will not care about your situation (Unless there lot’s of cash involved). It’s very disappointing when you meet a slumlord you don’t know it until the shit hits the fan and your shit out of luck here in Chicago. It’s like a big shit fest run by political bullshit. Take for instance Mayor Daley…. he has not contributed anything to Chicago yet he wins every election at this point it’s got to be rigged. Not only that but he talks as if he knows something yet is no smarter than a cat. I bet he can’t spell that word if asked on the spot. I mean Chicago has too much bullshit with these Slumlords you can’t get help in this city if your having problems just for your information when you have a problem it will not get solved because this city doesn’t enforce anything they talk about.

We the people vote for someone to represent us in the government. But you have done the opposite. We as a whole nation as Democrats want universal health care like all the other countries in the world. Even China has universal health care. Don’t listen to the republicans they are thieves and liars. They represent the corporations and can give a damn about this country. You make me sick because your not doing your damn job. What’s wrong with you? do you not understand that the insurance companies hate you? do you not understand that the republican party hates you? they don’t want to work with you. They just want to scream out at you and call you “nigger” over and over again. They kept bringing up the fact that your black during your campaign. They undermine the american people all the time. When we had town meeting to discuss health care they hired the most stupidest people with absolutely no education to disrupt the meetings. Don’t you get it yet. The Republican fascist neo-nazi corporate kkk party doesn’t want to pass anything you do. You have the power to make things happened. But all I hear from you is excuses. Ohhh noe we don’t have 60 votes, ohhh no my chair isn’t comfortable, oohhh no we need to have bipartisanship. You know the greatest thing that happened to this country is Democrats we brought Medicare, Social security, unemployment,  unions, FDA, and more. All the republicans have brought is unregulated anything. They brought us out sourcing, job loss, evil people like Mccain, Palin, Bush, Reagon, Cheney, Rove. These people can not be negotiated with because they will not compromise what they stand for the rich and powerful. Plus they love cheating on their wives and using the bible as a shield. Listen to me I represent what the people want. Hell if you hired me I would fix all of your problems in one term. Why? because I’m an intellectual that actually reads. I hear your a constitutional scholar. I don’t think you are since your allowing the patriot act to continue. Thats just a fact you haven’t read the constitution. Because you would have prosecuted Bush, and Cheney. For breaking the law. But I rant there. Let’s just get healthcare done already. All you have to do is ask any of the Air America talkers and you’ll know what to do. I say MEDICARE FOR ALL. Let the thieves try bashing Medicare and see what happens.
Now please for the love of this country do something. I’m losing hope in you every day. And I’m almost at the point that I will never vote again. Because if you can’t get nothing done then what’s the point? I’ll just have to save my money and move to a real country that doesn’t attack it’s citizens on a constant basis.

As a cab driver in the city, my car breaks down from time to time. It’s part of driving 12 hours a day, plus I drive at least 250 miles per day. So when things in the car break, I have to find a fast, reliable, and not very expensive mechanic.
My personal car’s transmission was making a noise and I was referred to a shop called Transmissions 4 less. The guy there told me he is the best in all Chicagoland. So when I took my car there he tried to diagnose it by driving it real hard on his driveway at the shop. He completely broke my transmission instead, right there in front of us. He offered to fix it very cheap so I said ok. He took the car for about a month no update or anything about what is going on. The only update was when I called to check if it was ready. He kept promising me in a “few days” every time I called. Finally I called his shop again on the 30th plus days and talked to his secretary about the issue. She told me he was busy. So I asked if he could drop the price a little more? because I had to rent a car once and a while to get around the city because he was the one who broke my transmission. She told me to ask him myself. So when I showed up this busy mechanic was playing solitaire. The conversation went like this….

Me: Salim so why is the car taking so long to fix

Mechanic/Owner: I’m not fixing your car take it and get the fuck out of here

Me: What!? why!? whats going on!? you said it would be done two and a half weeks ago.

Mechanic/Owner: I’m doing you a favor by giving you a good price and you want to drop the price on me?NOO!!!! I’m not fixing your car leave my shop.

Me: So your not going to fix my car?

Mechanic/Owner: No!!!

Me: are you sure about this?

Mechanic/Owner: Yes I’m sure get the fuck out!

Me: Ok there will be legal consequences.

Mechanic/Owner: Get the fuck out of my shop now before I through your ass out.

At this point he was looking for my key to my car. He told his mechanics that were working to take the key and throw it out into the streets. The secretary found my key and gave it to me outside instead.

So Now I have to find a real mechanic to fix my car and sue for damages caused by this mechanic.

So please do yourself a favor and avoid this shop at all cost……

I shop at only two stores for my food. Whole foods and trader Joe’s. At trader Joe’s I get my groceries and food I will be cooking for dinner. And at whole foods I get my chocolate fix and lunch. A few months ago I saw my favorite chocolate on a special sale. I thought sweet so I ended up buying a bunch the Dark chocolate mints. As I got home I opened one and it was stale white and crusty. I opened every single one to see if this affected all my chocolate. And they were all White and crusty so I went to whole foods and talked to a manager and showed him my bars we even opened a bunch on sale and they were all the same. And I noticed people have been picking them up and buying them. I stopped them and explained they were no good. The manager assured me they would stop selling them and throw them away. The next day they were still on sale. Your wondering but thats just one time. Nope there’s more. My favorite drink is the Steaz iced tea peach. Same sale at the downtown store instead this time. I bought 6 cans for the tazo giant peach drink and it was on sale. It was also spoiled. I think once they have a spoiled product they should just throw them away but not the case here. They just put them on these “special” sales instead. So next time you see them on sale please try the product out as soon as you buy it.

Well a lot has happened to me today and it brought up a serious subject for us cab drivers. Racism, and road rage directed at us for no reason. I’m American born and just because I drive a cab, It doesn’t mean I’m from another country, but there are those out there that believe that to be a cab driver you must be from another country. Today a U.S.Navy vet cut me off and called me an asshole and a Sand nigger. So me, an american being of European decent, logically in his mind; I must come from the middle east, because I’m driving a cab. Really??…. ohh and by the way 90% of the vets I have encountered always assume I’m an immigrant. Yep if you drive a cab not only do you get treated like crap by consumer services, Cops, Pedestrians, city officials, and now Vets. A vet attacked my cab in the beginning of the month scratching the side of my car and saying I can’t park there when I was just dropping off some customers. It seems to me the vets have a problem with this thing called Democracy and Freedom. I mean hi lets pick on the cab driver because he is not from here. So lets get one thing straight to all you veterans out there leave me alone. I don’t want to debate you if I’m an immigrant or not. Hell your the immigrant too moron. And serving in the Army doesn’t give you special privileges to attack people on the street because they don’t share your whiteness. Oh and lets not forget you haven’t fought for any bodies freedom here in America since world war 2. And calling me a Liberal doesn’t excuse the fact that when you wear a uniform you don’t represent the Army. The guy today made the Navy look like a bunch of Pussies. When you wear your uniform you represent everything that uniform stands for so thanks. It’s not enough for people to randomly cut us off and give us the finger and scream racist remarks but now I have to watch myself around Military douche bags that attack some one because they think there immigrants. This has been going on for too long. So if your a vet or in the Army, navy, marines etc. reading this I hope you talk about what it means to wear the uniform that your wearing because I pay for it with my share of taxes too, so show some respect.

Why congressman and senators are morons of religion

Yes their morons. For example one congressman wants to make this year the year of the bible. Did he not read the constitution? Does anybody in congress or in the senate read the constitution? I don’t believe they do it would require reading for a change. Because reading it you would come upon our non religious founding fathers had separated church and state. Maybe it was the fact that when a church of any religion gets into power all hell breaks lose. People get tortured to repent wars upon wars against the infidel. Religion had it’s chance in power and guess what it brought us wonderful things like Assassinations, Rape, Pillaging, Sacking, torture, People boiled to death, Burning of witches, Stoning, Poverty, Pedophiles, wars, and ignorance (a.k.a. Protestants). So why do they congressmen and senators keep bringing up their faith? because of votes? more like stupidity. But seriously how hard is their job? you get paid thousands of dollars and you vote on shit. And it helps to be rich because if your not there is no way in hell you can get in. So our system sucks monkey ass. I wish these religious morons go away and let people live there life any way they want. Their freedom of religion attacks my way of life every day. They spend millions to try to change the law in their favor. They ran away from Europe because they were being prosecuted and killed. And what do they do when they come here they attack everyones way of life. The Europeans had a great idea there about the Protestants. Should we get rid of them? I think so. They should not have a voice in the congress and the senate and if they preach about politics take away their tax-free status. thats the only way they are going to learn to stay away from everyones pursuit of happiness. If a gay man wants to get married to a man they should be allowed to, and you know why? because that gay man has a belief and that belief is his religion and in his belief he wants to get married he should. And you know why he should? because he lives in a nation that says freedom of religion. If you have a belief that is your religion it doesn’t have to be followed by millions it just has to be believed by one person and one person alone. It doesn’t say freedom of religion followed by millions only. My belief system for instance is my own and what another person believes is his business even if I don’t agree with it. It’s still his belief system. So if your in Congress or in the senate wake the hell up your job is the easiest damn job out there and if you can’t do it right than your not American and deserve to be shipped out to Florida where the other old people live.

Talk about disappointment. I thought wow, the harry potter experience. They had all this advertisement they made it seem exciting. You hear the music you see the owl wow this is going to be great a cool exhibit at the museum of science and industry. I payed 18 dollars to go in the evening I payed another 16 dollars for parking. I lined up for the 3:45pm slot and waited with my girlfriend for far so good I only spent 52 dollars and I’m about to have the coolest harry potter experience. They hoard us in to this giant tent. An actor greats us with a bad British accent. I thought ok not everyone is British. We walk into the first room where the sorting hat is going to sort us all. But I was wrong they took only three kids from the audience and they asked them what house do they think they belong in. And lo and behold they got into the desired house. The Actress holds an old hat above there heads and it doesn’t even move when it talks. I looked around I saw about 2000 dollars worth of people in this time slot and they couldn’t even get an animetranic hat? Now the time slots are every 7 minutes. So they are making the money. Next they move us into the next room where they have 7 LCD screens that show us clips of the movie I was like wow this is shitty. Then a curtain to the side goes and were greeted by another actor with a fog light in our faces. We are shoved into the Exhibit which is just the clothing of the actors from the movie. Which I found out were inaccurate. My girlfriend being a big harry potter fan watched the movies again and pointed out the inaccuracies of the exhibit costumes. And did I mention no photography? Yes your not allowed to photography any thing. We took one picture and the security made us delete it. Well I should say My girlfriend and I were not allowed because every time you look around everyone was allowed except us. When my girlfriends phone went off the security guards went ape shit crazy saying no cellphone use allowed. What stupid rules. Lets say you did take some pictures now what are you going to do with pictures of the costumes? You can buy the movies and use this new Invention called the pause button. And there’s tons of pictures of all this stuff online and for free. Then after walking around for about 30 minutes the exhibit ends in a store that try to sell you harry potter merchandise at jacked up prices and there was a line for people to buy this crap. It’s not enough that the average person paid close to 100 dollars (families), but do they get a discount at the store?? Nope! Just jacked up prices. I don’t see anything good about this fake ass exhibit. I would rather go to the museum of science and industry instead and walk around and interact with all the cool things there and have fun but save your money and don’t do the harry potter event, stay away from it or you will regret paying hard earned cash. If you want you can email me your money instead and I can use it to do pay my bills. Because thats how stupid the whole thing is. Buy the movies and watch them at home instead.

Heres a secret to wake up Americas Healthcare system.

We are not number one. Keep saying this over and over. We as a country need to learn humility before we can move forward. For instance did you know we have the worst health care system of any industrialized country? Did you know cubans have a better healthcare system then us? It’s true and the facts speak for themselves. According to real doctors in other countries US is behind 15 years in medical technology. Now how can this be? We are told we are the best. See saying your the best and being the best are two different things. For instance I play video games and some guy says he’s the best at fighting games I on the other hand say nothing. After playing the guy I win over and over. He then realizes he’s not the best. But lets say the other guy is America and when he loses he says it’s because the joystick doesn’t work so good we switch places he still loses. Then he says I haven’t played for a while I just need to warm up. After his “Warmup” he still loses. Then he says I’m on the wrong side let me try the other side….. let me change to my main character…. That character wasn’t my main one that I’m good at….. Let’s change the stage… ETC. and after all that he loses over and over again. Then he gets mad and leaves and tells his friends he won and I didn’t even have a chance. Thats how America acts to losing a sore loser when it comes to the healthcare system. According to fake news channels like FOX they say in other countries if you have cancer you have to waits months in advance to get help. One thats not true in Greece my mother had a tumor in her ovaries they informed her that in one hour she was having an operation. So lets consider for a moment that these Fake news channels are right, lets say you had to wait months in advance to get treatment. Now lets say you get sick in America. First do you have insurance? yes how much do you pay on average lets say “1500.00″ a month now the nurse fills out all the paper work then calls your insurance. Your insurance declines the treatment because they say it was a pre-existing condition. So you payed 1500 a month with a 2000 dollar deductible. So you have this insurance for 7 years thats 126,000 dollars your treatment costs 50,000 - 60,000 and after all that money you gave the insurance company you get screwed. But don’t forget to say Americas the best country while your dying and can’t receive your treatment because the CEO of your insurance company want more money because that 1.6 Billion dollars he got last year was not enough for him to buy that 100th mansion by the beach he wanted and that new super car. Wow isn’t America great? So you can bitch and moan about how great of a healthcare system we have but facts are facts and there is nothing you can say that will change them

I haven’t writing a blog for awhile because I’ve been collecting my thoughts on the world and on whats happening in the media.
My first part will focus on the Joke of a media we have here in America. Yes you heard right it’s a joke about 95% percent or so of the media is owned by a few people. I think it’s actually 5 companies. Well see the problem we face here in America is that they are all running the same bullshit story that has nothing to do with your freedom. Freedom is something Americans know nothing about. But we live in a free country you say….. Then explain to me why abortions rights is always under attack? or how about Gay marriage? Did you know that in Kansas the majority of the people there are brain dead??…… my proof is they teach creationism not evolution. Know what does Freedom have to do with the media? you might ask. It has everything to do with e media they should be covering the real stories and doing their damn jobs for once. I really don’t care that Brittany spears showed her crotch or that Rihanna got beat up by her boyfriend What I really want to know is a cover story about how Dick Cheney should shut the Fuck up. See what the media did there? They gave you a bullshit story that has no impact on your life while things are being done that effect everything in your life. Did you know that during Bush’s presidency he passed a law allowing insurance companies to get any medical information about you from the doctor? Or an evil law called the Patriot act?.. Well it must be good it says patriot act on it. Yeah if I took a piece of feces and painted blue put it in a box and spray a nice air freshener it’s still feces. They use words to mask what it really is. Where was the media all this time? hiding all these stories. They were page 28 material not front page worthy because they took away our Freedom. They were to busy not doing there jobs taking orders from Bush. Now theres some small percentage of the media that you can trust but you need to look hard. I usually look to overseas media to know whats going on here in America. Or I listen to real Americans on Air America radio where they don’t hang up on you and actually have a conversation with you about whats going on. It’s sad that I have to go somewhere across the globe for news thats happening here. Oh and by the way Fox news entertainment is entertainment it’s not real news and they lie all the time. Jim Cramer on CNBC is a loser that cheated people out of their money. ABC is another joke of a “news station”. They all cover Obama and attack him 24/7 “he laughs wrong”,”He is in over his head”,” the Obama recession” and “hes muslim” remember when he was running for President they through low ball curves lying about him all the time and know they try to get under his skin. Well where were these so called media when Bush was in office?? they not only did not do there jobs when he was in office they went out of the way to allow him to destroy they country. Now next time you turn on the tv remember that the media will not cover the whole story or the real story.
